This is a very cool service that makes orchestral recordings affordable for everyone. It’s a great way for students to learn how their arrangements sound when performed by a real orchestra, or for composers to record professional-sounding demos on a budget. Check out the audio demos on their site.

The MIDI Association also offers free access to 94 hours of video content about MIDI and music technology.
SCORE: A Film Music Documentary

This documentary, currently raising funds on Indiegogo and slated to be released in November 2016, features an impressive roster of today’s top Hollywood film composers, including Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Brian Tyler, and many more.
According to their Indiegogo campaign, “SCORE will break down scores for their memorable constructions, and explore the anatomy of a compelling score and what it takes to write a score that echoes in moviegoers’ heads for decades.”
Beep: A Documentary History of Game Sound

Aiming for a March 2016 release, Beep is a “feature-length documentary film and book of game sound and music from the mechanical arcades through to today’s orchestras.” They are also taking their interviews with game composers and turning them into a series of webisodes that you can watch here.
